A couple of years ago I had the great (coincidental) fortune to be in the same place as the national native American pow-wow. It was truly a fabulous experience. All of the various tribes were represented and performed their own native dances in full authentic costume. It was a remarkable sight. Right before my eyes was real living history. I even got to briefly meet one of the last living “wind-talkers” from WWll. These photograph still send thrilling chills down my spine.
